Individual and family counseling are reimbursable through your health insurance out-of-network benefits. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by calling your insurance company. 
Carrie is not "in-network" for any insurance plans. Carrie is a fee-for-service provider and considered an “out of network provider” with insurance companies. She can provide a bill for out-of-network coverage. If you would like to utilize your insurance benefits to help cover the cost of treatment, please request a bill for services at the end of your session. You can submit your receipts to your insurance company for financial reimbursement. Your reimbursement amount is based on your particular policy, so call your insurance company to find out about your out-of-network benefits. Contact your provider for questions regarding your benefits.  

Confidentiality: Insurance companies require that counselors provide the following information for payment/reimbursement: client name, client date of birth, client address, dates of service, and mental health diagnosis. This information becomes part of your medical record and may be used by insurance companies to determine your rates, eligibility for life/health insurance, and can even impact some individual’s career opportunities (i.e. armed forces, first responders, and pilots). Many people prefer to privately pay for their counseling to protect their confidentiality.

You can utilize your Health Spending Account (HSA) funds for individual and family counseling. These services are considered medical expenses and can be claimed on your taxes. 

Rates for Individual & Family Counseling​

$200 for individual counseling session (50 minutes)

$250 for initial intake session (50 minutes)

$230 for family counseling session of 2 or more participants  (50 minutes)

Rates for Life Coaching

$200 for individual life coaching session (50 minutes)

$230 for family life coaching session of 2 or more participants (50 minutes)

Rates for Equine Sessions​

$250 for individual session (70 minutes)

Cancellation Policy
You must provide 48 hours notice from your appointment time if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

-1st and 2nd cancelled/missed appointments without 48 hour notification will be billed a partial fee per your client consent form.

- 3rd and subsequent cancelled/missed appointments will be billed the full session fee.
